Cockatoo, Burung KakaTua
When I was young, we used to have a Cockatoo. My dad found her at a hotel during a business trip, and her name was Meggy! She was crippled but full of life. Cockatoos love to move back and forth and are famous for being chatty. In my language, we call them Kaka Tua. They’re pretty common you can find them at bird markets anywhere.
Today’s drawing brought back sweet memories of my Kaka Tua, the noisy bird who wasn’t always friendly, especially as she got older. She could bite pretty hard with that sharp beak!
Happy Kaka Tua Day, in my world, anyway!
